Gerard Moore, Chairman
Gerard was founder, CEO and majority shareholder of Spectel from 1997 to 2004. He sold Spectel to Avaya in 2004 for over $100m. Over that period, Spectel grew organically and by acquisition from 10 to over 240 employees becoming the leading provider of voice and web based conferencing equipment. Since then, Gerard has been active advising and investing in a number of technology companies, assisting them grow through entering new markets and by acquisition. Gerard holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University College Dublin, a Master of Engineering degree from Trinity College Dublin and an MBA from University College Dublin.
Alan Robinson, Co-Founder & CEO
Alan Robinson established Shenick in 2000 with Robert Winters and Kevin Glavin. His responsibilities include the strategic direction of Shenick as well as the day-to-day management of one of the world's leading test and measurement companies. Prior to Shenick, Alan spent a number of years with Euristix (subsequently acquired by Marconi/FORE Systems in 1999) in a senior technical role within their Marketing organisation. Prior to Euristix, Alan worked for a number of companies in Ireland, both startups and foreign multi-nationals. Alan has a degree in Computer Engineering from Trinity College, Dublin.
Robert Winters, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer
Robert Winters is a co-founder of Shenick and in his role as CMO is responsible for all tactical and strategic marketing, worldwide sales and business development. Robert has been instrumental in building Shenick's global sales, market presence and blue chip customer base. Before establishing Shenick, Robert was the Vice President of Sales for Euristix', a vendor of telecom network management systems in which he co-established Euristix' North American sales presence in San Jose, California. He built Euristix' customer base in North America and Asia and managed worldwide sales for Euristix' first product introduction. Euristix was acquired by Fore Systems/Marconi Communications. Prior to Euristix, Robert was responsible for North American Sales at Applied Micro Electronics (AME), a vendor of advanced test systems for optical media. Robert also worked for a number of years in Japan and the UK in engineering and marketing roles. Robert holds an Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering from the University of Dublin, Trinity College.
Eoin O'Driscoll, Non-Executive
Eoin O'Driscoll is Managing Director of Aderra, a company he founded in 2002 to provide consulting in Strategy, Technology and Change Management. Prior to 2002, Eoin held senior positions with a number of US high technology companies and served as a vice president of Lucent Technologies, Ascend Communications, Stratus Computers and Wang Laboratories. In addition to being on the board of a number of early stage telecommunications companies, Eoin is Chairman of Forfas and is a member of the following boards: American Chamber of Commerce in Ireland, the Cork University Foundation, the Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience and the National Executive council of IBEC.
John Tracey, Trinity Venture Capital
John Tracey is the CEO of Trinity Venture Capital. He previously worked in the semiconductor industry and in management consulting. In 1989, John joined ICC Venture Capital, where he was Investment Director. He was appointed CEO of Trinity when it was established in September 1997. He currently represents Trinity on the Boards of Norkom and Valista. John holds bachelor and masters degrees in engineering.
Bruno Dizengremel, Innovacom
Bruno Dizengremel joined Innovacom in 2001 as head of the Innovacom Nordic office in Stockholm. Before joining Innovacom, Bruno managed business development for a subsidiary of the Ericsson Group in Stockholm specializing in telecommunications network management applications (OSS).Previously, Bruno had worked within the France Telecom group for some 10 years in various management capacities. His most recent position at France Telecom Mobiles International was as vice president of business development, a position from which he initiated the group's creation and investment in various mobile networks.Bruno has also served as technical director for Panafon, the GSM operator in Greece. A graduate of the école Polytechnique, he also holds a diploma from école Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications in Paris.
